Lore Group unveils second property in DC

Lore Group has opened Lyle Washington DC, a new independent hotel in the capital’s Dupont Circle district.

Marking the second US property from the operator following the launch of Riggs Washington DC last year, Lyle is located on New Hampshire Avenue in an early 1940s Art Deco building originally housing apartments.

In designing the interiors, Lore Group’s Creative Director Jacu Strauss looked to create a world of calm, a place where guests can feel comfort in understated style. The luxury is in the details; soft Art Deco references celebrate the building’s original features, while there’s also nods to craftsmanship and natural materials. Strauss’ aim was to devise a space where people could say goodbye to the noise of the outside world.
