Extended Stays at Lyle

When a few nights becomes a few weeks

Our 1940s Art Deco building started as an apartment building in Dupont Circle, and we've kept that residential feel: calm colors, natural materials and rooms that let you actually live in them. That's the idea behind Lyle DC and why we created rooms designed for extended stays.

What's in a Lyle kitchenette?

Our kitchenette rooms include a SMEG fridge, air fryer and an electric tea kettle. A small, but capable space, our kitchenettes were built for:

  • Slow breakfasts before your first meeting
  • Light dinners on nights you'd rather stay in
  • Snacks, leftovers and a cold drink
  • Something warm before bed

Every room also has a Nespresso machine, so your morning coffee is sorted.

Which rooms at Lyle have kitchenettes?

  • Deluxe King with Kitchenette: 340 sq. ft., a king bed and our signature curved burl wood headboard. Dog friendly, too.
  • Deluxe Double Queen with Kitchenette: almost 400 sq. ft., two queen beds. A good fit for colleagues or family.
  • Premier King with Kitchenette: among our most spacious rooms, ideal for longer stays or families.

The Lyle Suite has a large kitchenette, a dining table for six and up to three bedrooms. Our largest room and only suite, works beautifully for small gatherings with friends and family.

Who stays with us long term?

All sorts of people. Government employees on assignment. New DC residents waiting on a lease. Business travelers on longer projects, military personnel, guests here for medical visits, and people spending time with family in the city. The common thread is wanting somewhere calm to come back to that feels more like a neighborhood gathering than a hotel.

Living like a local in Dupont Circle

A longer stay lets you settle into the neighborhood. On Sundays, the Dupont Circle Farmer’s Market is a short walk away, and a good reason to use that fridge. Dupont Circle metro stop on the red line puts the rest of DC within easy reach. When you don't feel like cooking, Lyle's serves breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner downstairs.

In the building, there's a well-equipped gym on the lower level, plus laundry and dry-cleaning service. Small things, but they add up over a few weeks.
